Sequa Automotive Group to expand in Morgantown, Ky.
Sequa Automotive Group, which operates global automotive industry suppliers ARC Automotive Inc. and CASCO Products, has announced plans to expand its Morgantown, Ky., manufacturing facility.
The expansion of the Sequa plant, which produces airbag safety system inflators, will add 280 new jobs by 2014 and invest more than $7.2 million in the Butler County economy.
“Once again, Kentucky stands out as a prime location where automotive suppliers can grow and thrive,” said Gov. Steve Beshear. “We’re pleased to work with Sequa Automotive Group on this expansion and will continue to partner with the company to ensure its long-term success.”
Economic development partners in the project included the Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Morgantown, Butler County and TVA.
