Pillsbury Winthrop to locate service center in Nashville

Nov. 3, 2011 - Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, a global full-service law firm, has announced that it will consolidate back-office functions in a new Nashville facility.

The center is expected to be fully operational by fall 2012. It will employ as many as 150 people to provide services in human resources, information technology, finance, and other nonlegal professional areas for the firm's 14 offices worldwide, including its New York headquarters.

Pillsbury Winthrop began its search with 300 communities and then narrowed that list down to a dozen for additional study. From there, the firm picked four finalists before ultimately choosing Nashville.
