Honda supplier to expand in Cullman, Alabama

April 5, 2010 – Alabama Cullman Yutaka Technologies, a tier-one Honda supplier, plans to expand its facility by adding a catalytic converter line that will mean an addition of 45 employees and an investment of $3 million.

Yutaka already makes torque converters, exhaust systems, and other products for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama. It's the second expansion for Yutaka this year.

The economic development partners on the project included the Cullman Electric Cooperative, Cullman Economic Development Agency and TVA.
